Baita, or white pagoda, stands 10 mins walk south of Dule Si, Temple of Solitary Joy. The huge Buddha in the temple is gazing at this pagoda. Since the destruction of the Northern Shaolin during WWII on Panshan in Jixian County, this temple is the repository of Shaolin Wushu in the neighborhood. It's beautiful, ancient, peaceful, and real. The monks are beautiful, kind and helpful. The buildings are awesome.
