Approximarely 14 km drive on a narrow gravel road. Campervans are advised not to use this road. We had a VW T5 that easily could do it. But I guess that big vans find it difficult. At least when passing.  Tour operators are available at...More

one thing is for sure, there's not a lot like this in New Zealand. The down side is it's a long way away from the tourist tracks so you have to make an effort to go and see both arches. Is it worth it? Well...More

Long drive in. Take care on winding roads. Oparara arch unbelievable formations. A really long tunnel through limestone maybe 100 m. Picturesque!
