Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you're heading into the Triglav National Park in Slovenia and the Soča valley from Austria or Italy, it's definitely worth taking the Predil Pass (Predel Pass in Italy).
On the Italian side, the state highway No. 54 del Friuli leads from Tarvisio and the Canal Valley along the Slizza Creek to Lake Predil, where the route to the Sella Nevea Pass in the south branches off, and uphill to the Predil crest. On the Slovenian side, the road No. 203 runs downhill to Log pod Mangartom and further to Bovec.
It's a steep climb from Tarvisio through a good number of hairpin bends, but when you reach the peak where the old border post was, now abandoned, the views are breath-taking. Be sure to pull into the very first gravel off-road area after the border as it looks down on the valley and you won't get a finer view. There aren't many places to stop as you descend, so take the early opportunities.
