Unique opportunity to cruise the lake that separates USA and Canada. Lovely homes of all sizes, some islands only just big enough for the home on the land. The Bolt Castle is amazing

We were there while the St. Lawrence was flooding and the visitor center still closed, but we walked around anyway where there was no water. While the visitor center was closed, we drove the entire length from Prescott to Gananoque. We tried hiking at Jones...More

At one time you could camp here, not any more. Camping area closed. Beach isn't maintained, over grown... but still has a place to picnic. Bathroom facilities, boat ramp, children's play area...

As a local homeowner in the region, we have the opportunity to visit Mallorytown Landing frequently but, under the guise of "ecological management", the picnic area and walking trails are deteriorating under poor maintenance. There appears to be unlimited funding for cultural exchanges and aboriginal...More

Truly a wilderness campground. Had a blast kayaking in the currents and tubing in the river. Even the scuba drift dives were a blast.

Thousand Island National Park is a picturesque gem. We were just driving along route 401 and you see lots of islands and houses on the smallest of islands too. Didn't have the time to stop, but was the prettiest drive we have done for awhile.
