Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

South side of Hvar island is mostly rocky and kilometers of cliffs. Few small villages are on the south side. One of those is Sveta Nedjelja, mostly known for vineyards that stretch from the mountain down to the sea. Because of this steep terrain, wine is high quality. There is restaurant on the seafront where you can enjoy local wine and sea food.

If you leave Hvar by boat towards St. Nedjelja, after the caves Dubovica and Pišćena you will find Red rocks, a natural phenomenon of vertically disintegrated reddish cliffs which steeply drop into the sea. The unusual play of the natural force of the sea and rain has left its mark in the layers of limestone creating an impressive masterpiece of nature. Swimming around is a beautiful experience.

This place was just incredible. We hired a car from Hvar, and drove straight to this place. It was just locals, and it was so beautiful to swim at with the best view. Next time we’ll definitely come back here and try the restaurant right on the water. So nice to come here and get away from the crowds!

A wonderful little place on the island of Hvar where you can go with a boat, sunbathe and swim in the crystal blue sea or take a bite in one of the wonderful restaurants

Went to the red rocks (must see!!!) with delfina tours. You can find a tall blonde lady on the Riva in Hvar Town selling tickets for a boat trip to the red rocks (+water cave) and Zavala. I really recommend it!!!

Wine basement is under the sea, so it's really unforgetable experience and so rare type of wine basement or wine keeping area.

Beautiful hidden place in Hvar island. For those who really want to rest, enjoy the nature, crystal clear Adriatic sea, long walks, canoeing, climbing and tasting excellent vine! It's a bit isolated, there is just one small grocery store, and two restaurants. Peaceful place to rest, far from crowd. There are a lot of vineyards, stretch along the hills and coast. There is a fantastic vine from Zlatan Otok vinery, wich is located on Sveta Nedelja hill. Fields of lavender, olive groves, rosemary... We will definitely come back!
