About
Far from the mad drive in merry-go-rounds with strong sensation, the Park Cigoland favors attractions accessible to the smallest (2-12 years) accompanied of them parents and grandparents while making sensitive the various public in the specific ecosystems in Center Alsace (Ried) and more particularly to that of the Stork Blanche. To Cigoland we can observe free storks or in one of the five aviaries of the park as well as many more species of animals surrounded with an often very typical green and diversified nature of Ried. "A Park where conjugate the pleasure of the party and that of a dumping at the heart of an alive nature full of scents and colors."

Great for little children (-6), bigger ones will get bored
Aug 2018 • Family
The park is great for small children. Bigger kids might get bored. It's not kinda place you will find thrill, but on the hand it's safety-conscious, stroller- friendly and full of shades. My 3 year-old had a great time there.

park met educatie over ooievaar
Jul 2018 • Couples
Good to see how the re-introduction of the stork is tackled.
In addition, info about the otter and all this in a nice park-like environment.
For the children there is also plenty to do, on the watchtower, so you can get close to the storks, also a playground and water basin with educational "show".
Here no sea lions, balancing a ball, but show how the different animals track down and eat their prey.
Again another approach to the concept of zoo.
Note the feeding times and later in the year the storks have of course flown again.

Nice visit, but everything in in French
Aug 2017
Nice attraction for kids of any age. Very pretty and clean place, and you can spend couple of hours there.
The animals are well kept and taken care of.

There is a place for a picnic inside.

The only negative thing, is that all the explanations and shows were in French only, so we didnt get the important information about the storks, which is amazing bird.

a country amusement park, and that's the charm of it
Jun 2017 • Family
it's basic. This is not Disney or even your city amusements park. They rides are basic but fun. lot of option for toddlers and small kids up to 10. it's a fun day for kids in a very authentic country fun park. We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and we enjoyed it. it's not for groups of adults or teenagers.

Needs a bit of investment
Jun 2016 • Family
This needs investment. Not all attractions were open at the same time and the storks looked a bit... tired. The attractions are good though for young kids. Take a picnic with you as food is average. The circus is also good, for young kids.

Amusement + Conservation Park
Sep 2016 • Family
Adorable amusement park for little kids plus they do very important work preserving the Alsace stork species. We easily spent the whole day there and our kids were never bored. The circus alone lasted more than an hour and had all the features of a village circus. We'll keep going every year until our kids are too big.

Good day activity with kids
Jul 2016 • Family
Basically it's a zoo of a kind nicely done with some nice and shady alleys good attractions and an average show with lots of talking in French and a bit of tricks with some birds and a seal... Kinda Ocean world style show but with an Alsace twist. Not a big fan. Even the kids (who don't speak French) got bored and restless. The park is nice though can spend a day there.

Wonderful nature
Jul 2015
In this park you come face to face with the storks. They demonstrate very close how they make their nests and fly graceful new building material to their nest . There is also a real colony of otters, which you can follow the lifestyle habits of near.
There is a real show with-apart from other otters-water predators.

Nice animal park for younger children
Jul 2015 • Family
We visited in the morning with our kids (6 & 8). The wooded setting is very nice, the park is clean, and it was enjoyable to view different species up close (we especially loved the otters & the storks). The kids enjoyed that there were interactive exhibits and they could also run around. The park is small enough to keep their attention and not overwhelm them. The path makes an easy loop, gives plenty of opportunities to see and take pictures of the storks in a natural habitat. There is a café and tables where we stopped to take refreshments and a small store to buy a couple of little souvenirs (stuffed animals, keychains, etc.). I would definitely recommend it for families with young children for a half-day visit.

Great for 2-4 year olds
Jul 2015 • Family
We went there with our 3.5 year old and had a great time. The park has a very nice size for the attention span of a 3 year old, and we just exactly made it through all the activities before she was out of energy (including the cirkus). It seems they close down from 12:00-13:00 so either bring picnic-lunch or arrive afterwards.
