Don't bother, paid €24 for 2 all inclusive tickets, cafe closed, takes all of 2 minutes to row around tiny lake. Shop closed and you have to pay to use toilets. Very poor.

Well... We went there, because my husband had seen they have a play ground and our children needed to let go of some of the energy...
At first we saw that the entrance was 3 euros, children for free. That seemed reasonable, since we didn't know what a ghost town we are getting in.
The lady at the cash desk tried to sell us 'full ticket' for 12 euros, where 'all the rides' were included... Thanks god to our sense, that we only needed the play ground. Because after visiting the 'Theme park' even 3 euros seemed like a rip off.
Well, we got the play ground. It was fine. The lady circled what was for free on the map, rather aggressively. We saw the 'village' as well, but there were no real information about the houses and when we approached one of the ladies 'working' in the houses, she barely spoke english.
Toilets were not for free, you needed to insert 50 cents for a metal barrier to let you in. It was spooky, almoust abandoned and rather scary...
Maybe it was because we went there off season? Still, I cannot imagine how that place could become more alive...

I rarely feel the need to leave a 1 star review but this place is almost comically bad. It’s €10 each to get in but that doesn’t get you access to use the toilets that are half a euro each extra. The place was almost deserted. The “theme park” consists of a few ponds, some (4 or 5) replica traditional buildings, some sad looking animals in their tiny zoo, a “simulator” ride that moves you around a bit while essentially watching an advert from the Madeira tourist board and a ride that claimed to take you through Madeiras history but was actually just a 2-3 minute trundle through some tunnels with flashing lights, mirrors, plastic plants and pictures of ships (no history to be seen). Toddlers may enjoy the playgrounds and remote control boats but otherwise I’d strongly recommend you save your money and don’t waste time on this place. The traditional houses can be seen for free in Santana itself.

We visited after a stop in Santana, our kids enjoyed it (2,4 and 6)

Eldest was distraught at the short amount of time she got to drive the radio controlled boat, and was asking for her euro back. I told her there were no refunds and that it was a valuable lesson in value for money. Two minutes was very stingy when we were the only people there.

The cinema experience was cheeky too, we paid (adults) €7 each to basically watch an advert for all the fun things to do in Madeira.

The AFrame houses were cute and we got some fun photos of the kids in those and on a giant banana.

The farm bit was odd. All of the ladies on the site were very polite and welcoming, the guy running the farm was not a people person. He also didn’t seem to care much about the chickens, many of which, including the cockerel, which was limping and appeared to have bumble foot, had feathers missing down to bare skin. Rabbits, goats and ostriches seemed in better condition, but the ostriches had no space to run, which is sad.

Large parts of the site were shut. Overall worth a visit with young children, but needs a bit of work.

We stopped here mainly to see the cute little houses, but it's more of a theme park and gift shops. Informaltive, though. We were driving around the island anyway, so it wasn't really out of our way.

This is nice place if you are younger than 7 years. There is beautiful modern garden, very nicely deigned landscape. Also there can be seen watermill and windmill and actually the farm section is cute. Good thing is also section with "classical Madeira houses". But but the overall impression was unfortunately mediocre. Even my kids - one is 10 and other 12 were a bit disappointed.

Its a basic tematic park ith the story of Madeira Island. young kids will like it. They have parks to play, you can row a boat, use some simulators, in the end an experince that will not be the best but its ok...

Not much else to do Jere. If you don’t drive, it’s kinda of far from hiking trial or beach. We walked around the town, visited fresh fruit market, ate lunch and waited for the next bus to return to hotel. 2 hours is more than plenty

Saturday 19th June and we visited this Park while we were in Santana.

It is a Theme Park, not with roller coasters, but with a theme of Madeiran culture and traditions

Various buildings and displays are here to showcase it all. Ladies were dressed in traditional dress and were doing traditional crafts in Casas Típicas de Santana.

Although it was free to enter the Park, once we were temperature checked, some parts were payable like the boating lake.

Statues, monuments, over sized querky and comical structures were to be seen as we walked around the extensive gardens. The maze was a bit of fun.

It is safe to say that this Park is definitely child oriented.

Sadly, like so many places, the Park still bears the scars of the ravages of COVID 19, with a number of attractions still closed.

Most admit the gardens did look in need of some attention. However, was amused by the sculptures/statues about the place.
