We had read about the fishermen’s village Friday market and decided to pay it a visit during our 1 week stay on Koh Samui. We found it interesting and worth it. Just next to the entrance to the village we found a parking lot which...More

We visited here in February having last been here in June 2014. Wow what a difference. Its a lot busier now and more expensive but it is still a lovely place to Potter. Especially the night market on a Friday!!

Was recommended by someone we had met in Bangkok and we were not disappointed. There is a great choice of restaurants and shops, although have to say the prices are on the tourist side so shop around. Shopping, nice to see quite a few shops...More

The fisherman’s village is really pretty with loads of shops and stools where you can get cool stuff. Don’t get fooled by the name because when you think of fisherman’s village and the picture that tripadvisor have put on, you’re thinking scruffy, unpleasant, too much...More

Had a good night here - enjoyed dinner on the beach and the girls had a great time hitting the market stalls. Definitely worth a visit

Nice area in Samui... With view on Koh Pangan but too touristic! And the prices are adapted 😜 But I recommend there a real good massage salon. Swan: very nice place, professional massage from Chang Maï, view on the see and normal prices 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏻

We did not buy any food, but it was fun to see and buy local trinkets. If you cannot make it on a Friday evening when the roads are closed to cars and have booths, there are still many stores to visit every other day...More

We visited both during the week and on Friday night. Both experiences we're fabulous! Vendors were kind and helpful! Food was fun and amazing! Good times for both kids and adults!

You must visit this place and eat in the market place as food very good and excellent prices, very good for buying gifts. Lots of nice restaurants in the village that have beautiful views, good for families, some restaurants are quite on the pricey side...More

Hi there. As Ghaz said, the market is only open on a Friday. The Village is a great venue though on the other days of the week and you can grab some street food or dine in a nice restaurant - it's all there! Worth a look...
