We arrived here for the Friday night market at about 7pm. It was crowded and busy. Enjoyed roaming around looking at the stalls but like everywhere else in Koh Samui we found the prices non negotiable and not as cheap as we expected. I would suggest getting there earlier to take more advantage of the setting which is on the... More

I don't really understand what people were seeing when they reviewed this well. My husband and I took a trip to Fisherman's village and it felt like someone through Margate, the mid west of America and Magaluf all in one place. If you want to be surrounding by chav tourists in plastic white chairs drinking beer in the morning then... More

This village is build exclusively for tourists and don t show the truth and hard life of the real fishermen..... All the items and services are overpriced compare to the real thai prices. Otherways the saturday night market is interessing but less than the Chiang may nights market....

It's a place where there are some restaurants and shops xlose to the beach. And where you can find all the activities possible you want to do. It's not an old village of fishermen where you see the Thaï folklore. Become more animated at evening.

Situated 10 minutes from our fabulous resort by mini van this village gave us plenty of variety of culinary choices as well as lots of entertainment with people watching. The Frog and Geeko is a great place to have a cold beer - the fans ensure you stay cold too. Beachside dining is all over the place and offers great... More

I'm not a fan of FV, very touristy and not authentic Thailand. The Friday night street fest is OK and worth a visit though.
