I can recommend Ash highly enough! My husband wanted a few shirts made. Ash was very professional, no pushy sale's tactics. The three shirts he had made were all perfect. We popped in on the Thursday late evening, and they were all sorted by the Saturday morning, amazing! Ash was a really nice, friendly guy. Would definitely go back.

Best tailor I had in Thailand and Vietnam. We ordered a lot of different things. Business Suit for woman, blouses, dresses and shirts for men and pants for the boy.
The owner was very friendly and patient with us. High quality fabrics and best custom cut as we liked to have it!
Best is that you can also order remotely and ship it to all over the world.
Easy and precise communication via WhatsApp in between visits!

In brief, simply perfect. We have chosen Ash based on his trip advisor reputation, and we have not been disappointed at all.
Ash is very service oriented, we only had the initial session in his store. Every other fitting has been taken place in our hotel.
The fabric is beautiful, the fit is too the point and Ash delivered well on time.
Just for those who wonder what you can expect. After the first fitting you get to know the tailor.. which means the final measure is take by the tailor which really makes the difference in fit

Excelent service, and great quality fabric. Had a bottle green velvet suit jacket made. Very impressed with a reasonably good price! A lot cheaper and better made than all the other shops in fisherman’s village

I can’t rate Ash and the service he provides highly enough. Throughout my experience working with Ash he was both professional and courteous and also very friendly.
I ordered a 3 piece suit for my wedding, which I wanted bespoke details on, none of which were an issue to Ash. Really pleased with the end result and will without doubt, use again

We got picked up and in light of all the excellent reviews, were excited to get the 2 suit deal on a card in our hotel. When we got there we we were surprised by the poor quality of the samples and lack of quality material selection. We were told that the sewing would be better for our suits. Also the price would be different , apparently it is for polyester fabric, but , that really didn’t matter, we expected to pay more.We really wanted to get a quality suit custom made, as we are hard to fit. In the end we left disappointed. Where do all the excellent reviews come from ?

Dear sir thanks for the review which make me confused about this whole story out forward.
1. We picked you up from the hotel very true .
2. Samples hanging on the shop as far as I know it's all for customer .
3. Quality material what stands for you I have all cashmere wool blend in my shop there are at least 300 to 400 material of different shade.
4. I have never said to you or to any of my customers that workmanship would be better if you
Pay more my work Manship is same for all you choose higher end fabric or low end.I don't differentiate customers
5 we don't have polyester fabric in my shop it's your story which you have put forward.
6 sir you were in the shop for hardly 10 mins and you saw all 300 range of fabric colors really .
7. When a new customer choose fabric it takes him at least 5 to 7 mins to see at least 5
Colours and you made a decision that all fabric is not good in 10 mins.
8. In my shop have different fabric with different price range I believe all over world tailors
Have different price range but if you think cashmere wool material as polyester its not our fault. WE DONT DEAL IN POLYESTER.
9. I am confused you have not made anything in my shop then how can you judge the fabric and workmanship it's made to fit your body but you have not given us a chance to

10. The excellent reviews have come from genuine people and who are continue business in form of online orders .

I found Ash on TripAdvisor because of the very high reviews he had and he didn't disappoint. Ash is the most professional and friendly tailor I have ever used. He has a great range of fabrics to choose from and has a good eye for design. I also liked that he was not pushy at all unlike other tailors that try to pull you in from the street and who pay commissions to hotels, Ash gets his business because of the good work he does and the strong recommendations from other customers. Thanks for your help, Ash. I'll defintely be back.

Myself, Husband and family where in Koh Samui in July this year. We visited Ash, explained what we wanted and after a few fittings we left with a couple of suits each and some shirts and blouses.
We were very happy with the service and time Ash and his team gave us. I would definitely recommend using Ash Tailors if you are staying on the island of Koh Samui and look forward to my return to order more from him.

It was worth to go to ash tailor which is located in maenam as we were staying in the main shopping street chaweng we went to few tailors but the price was to high for the same fabric which i made in ash tailor comfirtable atmosphere no force selling it was a smooth business deal . Thats the reason ash is the best very cool guy . Recommened to all even if you are staying far away its a worth visit.

Hi. I have been in koh samui for 3 weeks and will be here until the beginning of March. I like your web site, but can't find an e mail address? I have a few questions. I have had a couple of shirts made in Fishermans village, and have also been given a price for extra items. Would like to know your prices. Best by e mail, but it will be for woman's shirt, skirt (silk) linen trousers. Men's shirt, cashmere suit. Thanks

Do you carry 100% Egyptian cotton shirt fabric as I 'd like to get a few shirts made but in the past shirts I have made (in Bangkok, Bali and Kochin) have always has a % of polyester which I am very allergic to as it brings me up in a rash and itched like crazy so the shirts went to the charity shop. If there is no real 100% cotton I will bring my own but IO will need to know. Also I want to copy an unlined tropical suit in a 100 % cotton drill so there is the same question . Do you have our shall I bring it ?

I paid roughly 200 € for a suit with two trousers (180s!!!) and about 20 Euro for a shirt - Quality was outstanding and it is very cheap for european standards.
I can definitely recommend it...
