We visited the farm with our 2 grandsons aged 2 and 3 years. Although the paddocks were not open due to the time of the year there was plenty to see and do. The animal barn was great with parrots, ducks, pigs and piglets, plenty of goats which loved to to be fed, rabbits,Guinea pigs and a small horse. You can buy animal feed from the shop for a pound a bag, the goats loved it. The playground was very good and even has a zip wire, there are toy tractors and go carts which are free and quad bikes which where a pound a go. Overall our visit was very good and the boys loved it.

Bossy cafe staff!
Nov 2019 • Family
I've always liked the gin case and we usually eat there too. However the last time we went one staff member in the cafe felt it was appropriate to boss my grandchildren about, sarcastic bossy comments so we left early and went to Allonby for ice cream at twenty man's to save the day. We wont be going again.

Great place to visit - particularly in uncertain weather. Loads to do both indoors and out. Our 4 year old loved it. Plenty on offer for snacks, and a lovely tearoom. You can also take your own!

Alright but not as good as it could be
Aug 2019 • Family
Visited with 4 adults and a 15 month old. Enjoyed the barn animals and feeding but it’s rough around the edges. The rabbit field was awful, although there was a sign saying not to mistreat the animals, children were chasing and squeezing them. The rabbits also didn’t look in great condition and the longer haired ones could have been groomed better. Maybe having a member of staff around to keep the children under control would help? The sandpit area had bits of broken plastic in it that my toddler stood on in bare feet too. Apart from that the coffee shop and gift shop were lovely and we enjoyed walking round the paddocks seeing the other animals.

Brilliant

My friend and I arrived near to closing. We had soup & sandwiches which was excellent. Mine was to be vegan & my friend gluten free. The menu looked heavy on the meat & dairy but they had a good knowledge of the two diets and coped very well, so we felt in safe hands. Thank you for such care. The food and the service was excellent and it was all exceptionally clean.
We didn't visit the animals as we were rather late in the day

Been here twice and loved it both times. They have a wide range of animals. Entry is reasonably priced. You can buy some food to feed the animals. The cafe is great, lovely friendly staff and good food. At certain times of the day you get a chance to bottle milk feed the baby goats and lambs.

Great Day Out
Aug 2019
What a fantastic day we had with our 6 year old (she is autistic and finds going places very scary and hard). We found the place very accommodating and there was so much to do, our daughter especially liked the go-karts, she could have gone round and round all day! - The staff were very friendly and helpful, the guy (sorry I didn't get his name) who showed us how to feed the goats was really good and he also let us cuddle the rabbits and groom a pony! It was a very hands on experience that was all covered with one entry fee, and even better was that you could go out and return the same day if you wished. I would definitely recommend this farm if you want a great day out with the family.
