Regardless of your artistic abilities you will be sure to come away from your day with Hermine with lasting memories of a wonderful day. We did painting with natural pigments, gathering the materials to be used as we walked to through the beautiful Gozitian countryside: wild flowers and plants, different coloured earths and dried seed heads. We did our painting at "Hermine's Hideaway" and had great fun with our co- painters Elvira and Mia in a very relaxed atmosphere, with Hermine guiding us in our efforts. After painting, we were provided with a very tasty meal at Hermine's house. The bonus of a visit to sculptor Joseph Xuereb before we took the ferry back to Malta capped a memorable day. A definite don't miss experience . …

Took our 2 kids to this workshop - 2 hours of crafts using exclusively natural pigments, part in-studio and part out in the countryside identifying and collecting pigments. Kids loved it! Will definitely do it again. Brilliant way to spend a morning in Gozo with young children.

Attended a morning of art with Hermine and her guests and truely enjoyed the experience. We worked with "natural elements" - painting with sand/flowers etc... and it was really magical. Her direction and comments were really helpful and I came away with something that I felt so happy with. A wonderful morning.…

We ( myself, husband and our 4 year old daughter ) had a wonderful day in Gozo with Hermine. Hermine is a talented artist from Austria and she is so friendly and welcoming. We did the natural pigment half day course with Hermine which I thought would be most suitable for a 4 year old. Hermine pick us up from the ferry and took us to lovely home. We then took a drive to the a cliff face walk where we collected different coloured soil and flowers. After our walk, we returned to Hermine's home. There we did our paintings with soils, flowers and cactus berries. Hermine really engaged Jasmine my daughter and she got Jasmine so fired up artistically that Jasmine sat and painted for almost 2 hours. Then Hermine serves us a 2 course lunch that she had cooked. It was so lovely when Hermine's son Pasquale joined us for lunch after he got home from school. After lunch our paintings had dried and it was time for Hermine to drive us to the ferry port. We really didn't want the day to finish. It was such a brilliant day. My husband tells anyone who listen to him about our great day in Gozo with Hermine. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to do something different. We would like to do the walking tour with Hermine when we go back to Gozo; especially when Jasmine is older and can walk for 3/4 hours. …
