Goricko castle happens to sit on the site of the last volcanic eruption in Slovenia. This area is now home to an adventure and educational park. Facilities have recently been renovated and expanded, with even more activities to participate in, such as volcanic games, 3D films with special effects and a geological museum. Great fun for the whole family, as well as individuals and school groups.

Very interesting for young children. Theme of vulcanoes is presented in simple and inovative way. Nice souvenir shop. In vicinity is also small geology museum, but only in Slovenian language.

We were there with our 3 year old son and 6 year old cousin. Both were very satisfied with the trip and all the information which they gave us. The best thing was all rides (with elevator and 2 trains).

This is a familiy trip. Especially made for young children. Among several things, there are also 3d projectors and our children loved it. We were a bit bored.
