This castle has two original names: Gornja Lendava or simply Grad na Goričkem. It is not in Gornji Grad, some 100 km away. Trubarjev drevored 4 is address of the castle in Murska Sobota and not in village Grad an Goričkem.

Unfortunately, the castle has lost its original function and is transformed in the past to a Baroque mansion or otherwise. Many parts of the castle were demolished, like curtain walls, towers and the moat. Most medieval features has been lost. At the moment the castle...More

A big improvement from the first time we visited in 1980 it's been re estored to what supposed to be original. A popular location for weddings.

A lot of museums are usually boring but not this one. It is really interesting stroll through the Slovenian old 'golden days'. Highly recommend.

The castle is not renovated completly. The local tourist information centre does it's job. But the visit can get somehow boring.

I'm sorry that this Castle isn't renovated as it could be. There is a lack of money. Very nice place to visit and it has 365 rooms.
