Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to “pop in” here for a quick visit as we were walking past on my way to the square of Swidnica. I spent an enjoyable 2 hours in here. I was amazed by the beauty of this wonderful building. I recommend a visit here, take the time to look over its beauty and architecture.

Before my visit to Świdnica, I in fact hadn't known of the existence of this cathedral. But I must admit I'm glad I only stumbled upon it later, because I feel it made the experience so much more enjoyable. I was truly stunned by the beauty of the cathedral. The visible oldness of it adds to the charm, in my opinion. It is only the case of the outer side, though - the interior is well renovated, and just as gorgeous! If you're visiting Świdnica, make sure to pay the cathedral a visit. You won't regret it!

When in Swidnica you need to visit this Cathedral as part of your overall experience. It is one of the oldest in Poland and way off the typical Poland Tourists Path. Make sure you take a guided tour and you will be blown by all the interesting fun facts and historical information provided by the guide.

Baroque, very rich adornment. The highest tower in town. On the route around Swidnica center, worth to come.

This Cathedral is beautiful, and is still holding daily services, the best time to go is right before a service, or at the completion of one, unless you would like to attend a full service, for this is the only time you are able to see the Cathedral in its entirety, and with their beautiful chandelier's on, once the service has finished, just beyond the entry of the church, the cathedral is locked up, and you are only able to view the Cathedral through large iron gates, and all the lights are off, so it is quite dark to experience all of its architectural beauty and sparkle.

The towering cathedral seems almost too big for a small town like Swidnica. It is quite impressive relative to the low-rise buildings around it. The interior is nicely decorated.

It is nice to see this cathedral when you are in city but not expect something peculiar. It is typical (neo)gothic building you can see in almost every bigger town in the central Europe. For sure it has its own "secrets" and specifications but for common visitor without guide it is invisible. Most I like statue of John Paul II. in front of the building.

This cathedral was the most beautiful I've ever seen. The wedding we attended there was breathtaking.

That's not even the best part. There is so much to see inside of the cathedral including baroque statues and ornaments. This building is an enormous part of Swidnica's history.
