Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

IT is hole place, full of calm and some kind of easing? Because there is a church, old cementary, buildings of schools (protestants always want to educate). You can also look for some kind of theological discusion
Im catholic cathedral on Świdnica is big monumentów od mother od Jesus and Saint pointing on her
Im church of peace there is central statuę od Jesus and 4 persona (two old testament and two news) which means -sola scriptura

Good to see ofncourse too see how forbidens make a art - catholic Habsburgs sat ok You can build IT but you have one year, only Wood, no tall towers.

Found this purely by chance, while killing time on the way to Wroclaw Airport. Just followed Tourist Attraction signs and eventually found it.
Luckily we arrived just before the church was opened. We were going to leave but a local told us to stay a few more minutes.
So glad we did.
This UNESCO World Hertitage Site is well worth the description ! It is magnificent and to think it was built in less than a year and in the 17th Century, not long after England had been fighting its civil war.
It is even more amazing that this magnificent building was built under strict conditions, which included that it could only be built using perishable materials.
Yet, it still stands witness to the skills and commitment of the citizens of Silesia.

The company did not respond to an earlier email and when contacted by phone were quite brusque. I was expecting a private guide who spoke in English as requested, but this was not the case. So the drive was conducted in silence. This is not my experience with previous private guides in Poland. While the venues were outstanding the drive in between was very lack lustre. And we did not receive our bottle of water as was described

The Holy Trinity Church of Peace in Świdnica is the largest wooden Baroque temple in Europe. It is a historic religious building built under the agreements of the Treaty of Westphalia signed in 1648, which ended the Thirty Years' War. The building is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Ticket costs 15 pln, about 3 eur.

OMG. As you arrive the building is stunning. A walk around the outside and you start to get a feel for the pride that went into the build and it’s importance in its day. THEN you go inside. I would challenge anyone not to draw breath when you walk int9 the main church area. Words can’t describe it you simply need to go see it!!!

The church is set for amplified audio tours (speakers in the church not headphones and little handsets) that last about 10/15 minutes when your inside so we had to wait a few minutes for a Polish tour to finish before they played it in English. After the tour there’s absolutely no pressure to leave, we stayed in there whilst a German group came through as the “looking” takes longer than the audio as there is just so much to look at. …… just go see….it’s a MUST.

Not going to spoil it by putting a pic on as they just don’t do it any justice at all.

We came here as we saw photos of this amazing church. We checked the opening hours on their website to be sure it was open...and it was. The tickets were 12 zloty each, up from 5 zloty which actually says on the tickets but is crossed out and 12 is written instead. But it was worth it. Very cold inside but the decorations of this church are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed some Polish commentary over the speaker, which I understood quite a bit, but we were also given a paper with all history written in English. I would definitely recommend this church, even if you have to make a detour to come here.

The largest timber wooden church in Europe with a spectacular Baroque style interior, beautiful painted ceilings (parts of the upper ranks have been in renovation back then). It is a beat off the beaten path, but if you have a car it is not that far away from Wroclaw which is a nice place to stop as well.
