Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have visited here during the lockdown period for exercise and it is still a pleasant place to walk that is fairly clean and tidy - still hoping that they will refurbish the sculpture though as that would be the icing on the cake.

Wasn’t too sure about the entrance but once inside this flat is quite beautiful - high ceilings and fabulous big windows - nicely decorated and well equipped large kitchen . The garden terrace is well appointed and the door to the bowling green /park is cute . The fact you can see the sea / sun from the lounge and bedroom is a real plus and makes this property special. The 4 poster bed is a nice touch .

These are quaint gardens that on the whole are well kept including the green bowling area - I just wish they would refurbish the ‘Harold Sculpture’ in the garden as it badly needs attention

Grosvenor Gardens is sandwiched between the A259 and Sea Lane (where there is plenty of free parking) and as the names implies is next to the promenade. The gardens provide a nice area of green on the seafront, has some toilets, a bowling green and 18 hole putting course, and provides some shelter from the wind.

The most noticeable item in the gardens is the 1875 sculpture of King Harrold and his common-law wife Edith. The sculpture is severely weathered, but still has enough appeal to make you want to wander off and look at in more details. The sculpture shows King Harold (as of 1066 fame) lying on his back, dying, and the figure of Edith is hunched over him, holding up his head towards her face.
