We had a visit at this Cooperative outside Agadir and it was interesting to see the way that the oil is extracted from the argan nut or fruit. It is quite a labor-intensive process but they have it down to an assembly-line science and it...More

We were taken there as part of a day trip around the region and in general it was interesting to see and try out the products. However, as we were not in the region for more than that trip, I cannot say whether the products...More

The entrance is free of charge, and you will see women grinding argan's stones to produce oil, and everything will be explained. Obviously you will end up in the shop, but there was not hard sale. We found it very informative.

without being pressured. Quite educational regarding argan harvesting and processing. This cooperative provides income for disadvantaged women, thus it is a great shop to buy souvenirs whilst supporting women in difficult circumstances.
