Really not that much to do or see here.. Very tired and run down. Could do with a make over massively. The one good point was the view from the top of the park, i believe this is one of the highest points on the...More

This place has obviously seen better days as most of the facilities are closed. A real pity because this is an interesting place. Historic old dwelling now in ruins. Good views from the top of the site

This opulent old ruin leaves you hungry for more info on the history of what is one of the most elite remains of the ancient plantation system in Barbados. Perhaps some history from the perspective of the plantation slaves would make this an even greater...More

one of our stops on the island bus tour and it was a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean crashing to shore. There are vendors up there selling their wares and cold drinks, to keep everyone cooled off. A must see view!

So being Canadian, we thought a "national park" would be considerably bigger... but this is a relatively small park like one you'd find in a quiet city suburb. Not to take anything away from this place - it's beautiful. The old plantation home was interesting,...More

Beautiful grounds with the ruins of an old plantation home nestled in a beautiful grove of mahogany trees. A wonderful and peaceful place to visit.

With so many glowing reviews we expected much more. I guess the unique feature is the mansion from a bygone era, now in ruins, overgrown with plants and suffering cracks....all behind a security fence. It’s history is much more interesting than the site, however. Originally,...More
