Sail the Caribbean waters of Barbados’ west coast aboard the El Tigre schooner on this fun half-day cruise, with transfers. Enjoy free-flow drinks, including rum punch, beer, and juice, and a light snack as you inhale views of palm trees, beach, and ocean. Stop for guided snorkeling at a reef known for turtle sightings and a shipwreck that’s a vibrant marine habitat. Upgrade for a longer adventure, with lunch.

We have been coming to Oistins on Friday night whenever we are on the island. We were wondering what the situation would be like with Covid; while the crowds were much lower, about half of the stalls were open. There was no live music but the fish is as good as ever. Enjoyed our meal at Pat’s Place and from the number of locals lining up to take away, you know that you were getting quality fresh food. This time we tried the swordfish and flying fish. Delicious!

A great experience of Oistins and far less busy due to Covid. Really tasty fresh fish, red snapper was delish and I recommend Friday here to get your catch of the day!

We were told that a visit to Oistin’s Friday Fish Fry is a must do when visiting the island and they weren’t wrong. It was very quiet and only a few stalls were open but still a good atmosphere and the up side was that we managed to get a seat immediately and were served quickly. We went to Uncle George’s Fishnet Grill. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of freshly caught fish which was delicious and served with a choice of garlic potatoes, fries or sweet potato and coleslaw and pasta salad. There was a DJ on stage playing music but no live music but still really good. We finished off the meal with an ice cream from the stand opposite the stage. Also very good.

Even though it's quite crowded it needs to be experienced. So much randomness it oozes human energy not contrived.
