One of our "must do" things was Oistin's Friday Fish Fry but due to scheduling difficulties we went on thursday instead. No crowds, great food and quick service.

there is a great buzz here. A wide variety of places to eat. It can be difficult to get served in the better places.

We avoided the Friday night , on advice, as being very much livlier and more crowded than we felt we'd like. There were 3 cruise ships in at the time we were there... On Saturday, we found a few hundred people, music, craft stalls to...More

Very crowded . Slow service. Food variable. We did have nice Barracuda at Uncle George’s . If you want to eat there avoid Friday . If you want the crowd & entertainment go on Friday. It seems to have got too big to be a...More

Even before you land at Bridgetown someone undoubtedly will have told you, "Ya GOTTA go to the Fish Fry." It's a longstanding tradition in which many (perhaps 20) small individual establishments each set out their tables along the beach and main street every Friday night...More

Pats Fry is an absolute go to, the best flying fish, huge portions of macaroni pie and coleslaw. Really nice atmosphere and local dance crew performed on stage. Cheap beer at any of the bars too.

This place is amazing with so many fish restaurant's over a large area all vying for your order. There is also a stage with local music and dancing (but loud). Walk around to get the feel and atmosphere of the place before ordering your food...More

I doubt it, if anything most small places in the island will be shut down. your best bet is big resorts and restaurants.

Some of the outlets are open everyday, but it is much quieter than a Friday. Some open just in the evening. You can usually eat there most days but it is very different from the Friday Fish Fry which is loud and very busy!
