take your walking shoes and enjoy a splendid walk through the gardens with the sweet smell of Daphne blossom in the air around every corner. the different varieties of snowdrop mixed with aconites and small iris are the backdrop for the early visit and show spring is on its way. Around every corner is a colour bonanza not to be... More

Spent a lovely morning exploring this National Trust property. Perfect time of year with over 300 types of snowdrop in bloom. A huge capacity car park and £8.50 to get in. A very pleasant and modern visitor centre and then you are let loose in the gardens. You can use a map but just as fun to follow your nose... More

A return to the wonderful Anglesey Abbey for a lovely mild winter weather day to see the annual snowdrops show (the aconites are out too with a few early daffodils sneaking a quick look to see if it really is spring coming early). A great walk as always and then onto the cafe for a bit of refuelling albeit the... More

This is a nice place to visit, but there are better places, less crowded and less commercialised. They are not far from here but are currently not as crowded. The display of snowdrops are good, but as I say I think there are better. Sadly the gents toilet looked like it had not been cleaned all day and in the... More

Goodness they are sometimes a victim of their own success , we visited in half term on Wednesday 15th of Feb to see the snow drops and it was mega busy , we have been many times before but never seen it so full .We can always find areas and sections that are not quite so busy , that is... More

We go to Anglesey Abbey quite often because the gardens are lovely with particular attractions throughout the changing seasons .In February there is a wonderful display of snowdrops which is truly magnificent. In addition there are lovely woodland walks to enjoy .The restaurant is popular and there is an excellent ,if pricey garden shop

This NT place has a lot to offer in spring - lovely snowdrops and the best winter garden we've ever seen ablaze with colours (see photos). Mobility scooter gave my husband the same experience as all parts are accessible if you stick to paths. The mill was a surprise and we bought flour to bring home - nice river walk... More

Went her for the snowdrops, we weren't disappointed. Good plant centre with reasonably priced plants.

Yes they really were very good as was the walk through the gardens.....felt like Spring is on its way. Huge queues for the restaurant because we had inadvertently chosen a nice day right in the middle of half term so lunch was off and we sought refreshment elsewhere. This property has one of the better NT shops with garden plants... More

We are regular visitors here as we love it. We had never visited to see the snowdrops and were not disappointed. The Winter walk is stunning with masses of snowdrops of many different species. Our grandchildren enjoyed the meandering walk to the nature playground. Here we refuelled with our first picnic of the year in warm sunshine. After much exploring... More
