House is amazing and visitors are allowed to wander round the rooms without barriers. Lovely house, well presented and very interesting. Gardens were good and I would say one of my favourite NT properties.

Spent a very pleasant hour on a Sunday afternoon looking at the dahlias - a rainbow of colour! In the shop garden there was also a small display demonstrating how to present dahlias for competitions with a champion grower answering questions.

I booked in August 2016 for December. The tickets went very quickly. Either follow Anglesey Abbey on Facebook or if you are a NT member, sign up for email alert.

Hi have just checked on their website. Unfortunately they do not allow dogs in the house or garden. However if you go onto their website and scroll down their is a countryside walk close by.
