I resti di un mastio sono quanto resta del castello di Brionne, sorto a partire dall’undicesimo secolo. Distrutto nel Settecento non ne rimane granché ma il sito domina l’abitato e regala belle viste anche della valle della Risle. Merita la passeggiata.

Ist man zufällig schon mal da, kann man sich die Turmruine angucken, aber nicht extra dort hinfahren.

Un beau site à découvrir pour les amateurs d'histoire médiévale normande. Le château fut construit à la toute fin du XIe et détruit quelques années plus tard sous le règne d'Henri 1er Beauclerc.

Vue imprenable depuis le radier d' ACLOU (viaduc). On comprend pourquoi il est placé ainsi, un vrai nid d'aigle là ou la vallée de la RISLE fait une courbe.
Du courage pour y monter par le petit sentier départ rue des canadiens.
Une petite pelouse vous y attend. Lieu idéal pour pique-niquer, faire une halte amoureuse ou tout simplement observer admirer cette vallée. ALLEZ-Y

À voir .Brionne et la vallée de la risle .une vue qui permettra de mieux apprécier ce coin de l'Eure qui a connu une période de développement suivie ,actuellement , d'une période de décroissance .mais la vallée est toujours aussi magnifique.

Jolie point de vue sur cette petite ville sympathique. Les ruines du vieux donjon sont à visiter, les lieux sont en accès libres, gratuits et facile d'accès.

Cet endroit est charmant, les ruines sont un plaisir pour les enfants qui aiment les observer et galoper tout autour. Le point de vue sur Brionne est très sympa.
Lors de notre dernière visite, nous avons cependant eu à regretter le manque d'entretien de l'endroit. L'arrière du donjon n'est pas tondu, les boites de Kebab, canettes et sacs plastiques jonchent malheureusement le sol et je ne parle pas des bouteilles de bières explosées qui sont un réel danger pour tous. Il n'y a aucun respect de la nature et c'est bien dommage ! Il serait bien d'y mettre des poubelles et que des agents y passent régulièrement...

Impressionnante ruine de 17 mètres de haut: ce donjon carré a été construit fin XIe-début XIIe siècle à l'époque où le duc de Normandie était également roi d'Angleterre. Les vestiges sont intéressants (panneau explicatif) et la vue à elle seule mérite l'ascension: on embrasse toute la vallée de la Risle jusqu'au viaduc de l'A 28.
