We went this way at the advice of a local who said it was the way the locals would visit the cliffs, and would help avoid the hoards of tourists and be a more authentic experience. We appreciated the tip and were so good we...More

We walked to Hag's head to get away from the tour bus crowd and it was amazing. The ruins at Hag's Head are cool, but I wished we could enter them. I think it's worth the visit and it's a good stretch of the legs...More

A breathtakingly beautiful place. My husband and 2 young kids visited here. The kids are 10 and 6. They were not allowed move from our side and held our hands tightly . There is alot of uneven surfaces and exposed cliff edges. A fantastic place...More

This is the best way to experience the Cliffs of Moher. Get there early or late in the day if you want to find a parking place.

This walk is excellent. It is only 10 minutes from the cliffs and instead of €8 p.p, it is only €2 per car. It is the car park with the yellow house. I highly reccomend the farmer's car park.

For a more rustic experience than the crowded and touristy visitor center, visit the Cliffs from Hag’s Head. There is a small, 2 euro per car lot (v 8 euro per adult at the visitor center, unless you purchase discount tickets online) just a 15...More

This is a must see for everyone one who visits. Hags Head and Cliffs of Moher are the reason people come here. Nice little hike to reach the area then you are greeted with beautiful, stunning views of the cliffs and the Atlantic. I could...More

If you are going to the Cliffs of Moher....DON'T. Or rather, don't park in the car park/visitor's centre as you will 1) have to pay about 8.50 euros per person and 2) be surrounded by hoards of tourists and tour buses. Instead, go to Hags...More

We went to Hag's Head not to see the ruins but to skip the hoards of tourists at the northern end of the Cliffs of Moher. Go here instead, save on parking and skip the crowds.

I do not believe there is contact information available. There is an old historic building on the Hag's head, it is fenced off. There is also a pseudo-quarry on the terra side of the path. The farm land is fenced off... More

We hiked from the visitor's center to Hag's head and back. It was about 8 miles by the wrist monitor. I did not see any shuttles running. I did see a sign for a bus pick-up, but didn't pay much attention to it.
