It's certainly spectacular during the right season

I stopped at the place with my wife and 1-year old son. They have 2 areas to park so you probably can find a place to stay close. The entrance of the gardens is in a area with a cafe and some small shops where you can spend some money afterwards. The entrance to the gardens cost € 7,5 per... More

I'm convinced that countless trips to doctors psychologists and psychiatrists could be saved by a little time walking amongst the magnificent trees in remarkable Mount Usher . Even though it's just on the outskirts of Dublin it gets fewer visitors than it deserves due to it being a little off the main routes , out of sight out of mind... More

What a glorious and unexpected delight. The gardens were magnificent and the walk along the river is not to be missed. We loved it. The reflections where the water was still were awesome. As the seasons change, so would the colour in the gardens. Definitely worth return visits.

Something for everyone although not the most suitable for people or children with limited mobility. Lots of things to interest everyone, some shopping, gardening products, produce and Avocca restaurant. Limited parking and could be a problem on a busy day.

Utterly stunning at this time of the year (Nov). The colours - particularly the acers - were nothing short of spectacular and don't miss the eucalyptus trees. A very pleasant few hours walking through the garders and along the river. Could be slightly better signposted through the village. We also visited the coffee shop which was rather on the pricey... I visited as part of a group these beautiful gardens. Autumn is a great time in the gardens with the most beautiful shades to be seen on the trees. There are so many different specimens of trees and plants. There are some very nice shops at the entrance and a café. I would recommend a visit if you are in... More

Stunning colours, beautiful gardens, wonderful way to spend an afternoon. We were blessed as the sun was out and for the end of October it was very mild but now that I have been here I will return and aim to do so in each season though I do not think anything could beat the amazing colours of the Autumn.....
