Wonderful shaded gardens with small suspension bridges crossing a central stream. We expected a nice display of fall colors, but were surprised to see so many beautiful flowering plants -- including many hydrangeas -- blooming during our visit in October. Note that Mount Usher Gardens...More

The wet weather on the day we visited made the colours of the fall foliage appear even more vibrant. The gardens are amazing and there is something new hiding in every corner.

Beautiful place to wile away some time with a walk through groves of large trees and wild plantings. The brook running through and over small waterfalls provides a pleasant background noise to a picturesque afternoon.

This location is a favourite of ours - beautiful gardens and streams in the gardens, with delicious food and good coffee from the Avoca cafe on the grounds. The variety of other shops there make an enjoyable, easy going afternoon with really memorable gardens.

I have seen this garden in spring, summer and fall and there's always something new and beautiful in the way the trees and gardens look. And Avoca Cafe is just beside it, for whoever wants a little treat too. Definitely worth a visit.

We were visiting with our toddler and had the buggy with us in the garden. Some steps but I think it always was an option to take a different path without steps.
