Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice busy market of food, clothes, shoes and accessories. There was music to entertain while we shopped.

Wear shoes to visit here. A regular Caribbean Market. Crowded on the weekends. Busy. Noisy. Reasonable prices on fresh local produce. Wide variety of foreign and local produce and fresh fruits. Some local food and delicacies vendors. It is busy and hot so grab a coconut water or a slice of watermelon.

This stalwart of Tunapuna and environs has been present for as long as I can remember. Within the last 10 years the development of the facilities have been significant, thus improving your overall experience at the market.

Referring to my previous assessment in 2015, you can still find any locally grown crop there Six (6) days a week as they are closed on Mondays. The deals you can get can be anywhere from a bit overpriced to a down right steal, this is a good place to test your knowledge of crop prices...and your negotiation skills. Wonderful Wonderful Tunapuna Market!

The Tunapuna market is a truly wonderful market experience. Get fresh fruits and vegetables of a wide variety at the most affordable prices. The weekends are the busiest so if you cannot handle the crowd and the noise I would suggest you go during the week.

You will love walking through the crowded noisy crazy stalls with everything you can possibly think of finding here in Trinidad from clothing to seafood meat veggies seasonings cascadura fish - All fresh and ready to be take n home for a great meal. Prices are good. Parking is a mess so take a maxi or taxi on Bus route. Watch your wallet and for peddlers looking to take your money.

We were at the market Saturday and it was packed with vendors and shoppers. A great spot to buy everything from hot peppers to pigs tails. I was told the market is open Saturdays and Sundays until noon. Definitely worth a visit. Hi Thanks
