Don't forget your camera, you will need it ! Easy walking and well worth taking your time to really enjoy those views. Handy tavernas are open for refreshment stops on the way.

Skopelos town is probably the best town in the Sporades. Not tiny and not too big, it develops on a hill with a fascinating cliff high on the sea. There's plenty of nice shops and cafés, tavernas and restaurants, but it still feels very genuine.

Our guide was wonderful. Even on a hot day, she took us through the town, telling us the history and unknown information about this beautiful town. It was worth it.

Very enjoyable and informative tour of Skopelos town with Heather Parsons. Her 30 years on the island provided an interesting perspective and history lesson where all my questions were answered. She has a great sense of humour and a passion for the restoration of the...More

It depends where you will stay. If you are staying at Skoeplos town you can take the downhill or the narrow streets (where you can walk) to go at the port. Yes, there are buses.
