Really helpful staff with some good advice as to where to go and weather forecast. Kayaks were in good condition, map and other equipment worked well. We had a brilliant time on the archipelago for 2 nights 3 days. Easy to get to - an hour and a half from Stockholm central station on train and bus.

My 16 YO daughter and I were visiting Stockholm and we rented sea kayaks and camping gear for a two day overnight trip. The equipment was brand new and the person from Dalarö Kayak said they buy new equipment every season. We are whitewater kayakers without much experience in sea kayaks, but it was no problem. We had a blast... More

My brother and I were doing a weekend self guided kayaking/camping trip in the area. Before we set off, the local guide from Dalaro Kajak was very helpful in providing information on the weather conditions, sightseeing spots (nearby fortress, bird island, wildlife, etc) and camping spots around the vicinity. Despite the windy/rainy weather, we really enjoyed the scenery in Dalaro.... More

We spent a day kayaking around the archipelago and had a wonderful time. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful, giving us ideas on where to kayak to and how long it would take. We found some lovely deserted islands to stop at and were fortunate enough to have a sunny day! Getting to Dalaro from Stockholm... More

Whilst waiting for the ferry to take us to Orno we wandered around this beautiful little village. There are several small cafes and restaurants and shops, well worth a visit.

Mats is the man, an awesome guide who never lost his enthusiasm even if high winds. A wonderful way to experience the wild Baltic outside of Stockholm. Highly recommended, whether you go with a guide or independent -- I'd love to get back for a two-night camping trip, but even very close to Dalaro, there are many lovely spots.

We took a guided full day kayak tour with Mats from Dalaro Kajak, and it was awesome! We are staying in Stockholm, and getting to Dalaro was quite a simple one-hour journey, following the excellent train and bus information found on their website. Mats was terrific. His obvious passion for kayaking was contagious, and he had many interesting descriptions of... More
