ningaloo reef near Exmouth is just an amazing place for its diversity of marine wildlife, the fact that the reef is accessible right of the many beaches, and the amazing red dirt ranges that run along the landside of the reef. I really believe it was better than the Great Barrier Reef because you don't need to go a cruise... More

Swim with the whale sharks, have fun watching the playful dolphins and exalt in the majesty of the migrating whales. Book a charter tour out to the reef and get up close but not too personal with magnificent sea life at either Coral Bay or Exmouth. But note the time of year as the whale sharks and whales are seasonal... More

Been to this area many times and love the place. Disagree with another review comparing Ningaloo beaches and sand with Wineglass Bay in Tassie. Wineglass Bay that is a beautiful spot - not sure why u would compare the two - but Wineglass climate doesnt even go close to Ningaloo. Yes it is a out of the way - read... More

Experience the Ningaloo reef and all it offers, a short drive from Exmouth WA. The reef runs along the west side of the Exmouth peninsular and is accessed by entering the Cape Range National Park. Entry fee to the National Park is $11 as at May 2013. There are a lot of small designated campsites available catering for caravans to... More

The most pristine, and largest fringing reef in the world! Different coral than found on the great barrier reef. Start your adventure at Coral Bay, a small node(not a town) on the Exmouth Penninsular. Take a trip on the various tours, whale watching, swimming with the Mantas, or take an ocean swim with the whale sharks(in season). For the more... More

The highlight of my time in Australia; you can snorkel around coral reef just by wading into the water and swimming about 50m. I'd recommend a half day boat tour to go out a bit and see more interesting bits of the reef and all the fauna - reef sharks, manta rays, fish of all colors. And there's very little... More

This is one of the most amazing places... Many different beaches to walk and places to both snorkel and dive from. The visitors centre at Exmouth was AMAZING! They were so helpful..and well work taking a trip out with the Ningaloo Ecology Cruise for a glass bottom boat trip and a snorkel over the reef!!!

Spent a week at Ningaloo reef. One of the most incredible places we've been to in the world. Missed all the tourists by going in mid-October but me may have been lucky with the weather etc. Mid to upper 30's in temperature. (bring lots of liquids) Fished, snorkled and explored the fabulous beaches. Some were totally abandoned and you had... More
