This art museum was one of the top five highlights on our 15 day cruise along the coast of Norway. Of course, we are art lovers, but even non art lovers would appreciate this little jewel. Everyone knows of Edvard Munch and "The Scream". This...More

Unfortunately, the most famous of the Lofoten painters, Gunnar...More

After spending a week enjoying the natural views around the islands, I could really appreciate some of the valuable paintings of this museum, and understand a bit what daily life and harsh work of fishermen back in the old days meant. The video is interesting...More

Standard touristic shop but a large sortiment with an attached art gallery with an entrance fee. Located at the parking lot, but stroll the streets and quays of Henningsvaer first. They are worth it!

I usually don't visit art galleries and such, but I was recommended this. And I really liked the multimedia (music/pictures) show. Also some very beautiful paintings in the gallery. Recommended :)
