This is a fabulous coastline to explore by boat but you must do it in your own boat with a local skipper. If you go with a group the boat will be too big to get up close to anything and if you just hire your own boat you simply won't find those interesting bits that a local skipper knows to go to. Obviously, it is the most expensive option but trust me, it will be worth the money. We paid 160 Euros to hire Georgiou from Captain's Motorboat Hire and enjoyed a fabulous 4 hours with him. The only mistake we made was to ignore his advice and have him take us to Marathonisi Island which is a complete dump thanks to all the idiot tourists there. Splash out a bit of money and have a fantastic few hours.

The visit to the Keri Caves was a bit of a disappointment, we expected a lot, it's true.
There is only one reason, they are not to be visited late in the afternoon.
Everything completely in shadow.
The visit on a private boat was still pleasant, the sunset on the Mizithres islands is one of the best I have seen in various parts of the world.
If you want to enjoy the caves and the views, go in the morning, when the light highlights the colors in the best way.

Beautiful caves and awe inspiring being inside.

Unfortunately we couldn't go into the sea ourselves and had to stay on the boat due to choppy waters and a huge backlog of boats behind us.

But still, recommended

I still can’t get over the colour of the water here set against the most amazing backdrop! We stopped our rental boat here for a bit and had a swim. It was amazing. We saw boats going in and out of the caves but being boat novices we didn’t get as close as we might have liked to. But it didn’t matter. A must see on this stunning island!

Our trip included Kerri Caves, Turtle Island and Turtle spotting. We booked with Leo from Happy Traveller in Kalamaki who was so friendly and not at all pushy. We even got a discount simply because we happened to be there as the tour was about to.start, we didn't expect that and would have been happy to pay the full price as it was such a fabulous trip!
We saw turtles just serenely swimming around as we sailed past Cameo Island and we stopped for photos too and as an added bonus you get to see Cameo Island from the boat which was lovely (we went to cameo island on a separate day which is a must)

The boat then sped off across to Turtle Island which is a beautiful little sland with soft white sand and chrystal clear blue and turquoise water, it really is as lovely as any Carribbean beach. We stayed for a few hours just swimming and enjoying the soft white sand and sunshine and people and boat watching. We had previously visited the blue caves and in my opinion this is just a beautiful. Don't think twice just go! you won't regret it.

If you've ever seen blue water caves, these won't surprise you but I still they are worth visiting. There are boat trips from Keri beach that take you there and a few other places. Usually, you have some time to swim there which makes it a great experience.

We rented a boat in Agios Sostis via click&boat. Spend the whole day sailing along the coast and the caves. Beautiful bays where you can swim. Make sure you bring something to eat and drink with you. There are plenty of nice lunch spots in the village of Keri. But if you sail past there, there is nothing useful to take with you,

I can’t stress enough how much you should bypass the big boat trips and just hire your own little boat from along the beach. We paid 65euros for 3 hours, 20cc boat, for 2-6 people. Use dolphin situated right on the beach as their price includes petrol and insurance where all the others were going to charge extra for that. Anyway we went off on our own exploring the cliffs and caves, dropping anchor a few times to swim into the tiny little white shingle beaches In and around the caves, and swimming into the caves themselves. The sea around these areas is so beautifully clear with what appears to be blue and green rocks shining from beneath. Go early to avoid the busy midday period where you are constantly being chased by large boat trips. We went out at 10.30 and luckily got to take it all in peacefully for the first hour and a half but once it turned 12pm we were joined by lots of big trips in all the coves we visited. Unfortunately we didn’t see any turtles in the area but it didn’t detract in any way at all.

We have just returned from a fortnight's holiday in Limni Keri and, without doubt, one of the things you must do if staying in this part of Zakynthos is take one of the boat trips to spot a turtle or two, visit Marathonissi (Turtle Island) and see the Keri Caves. There are 2 or 3 different boat companies that operate out of Limni Keri - and we actually enjoyed the first trip so much that we went again with one of the other boats! It's worth checking with the people selling the tickets to ensure that your trip will actually include the things you want to do - they aren't all quite the same, and the prices vary accordingly. We first went on the 'Glass Bottomed Boat' - a trip that cost 15 euros each for adults and started with a bit of (successful) loggerhead turtle spotting not far offshore. In fact, they absolutely guarantee that you'll see at least one turtle! They then took us out to 'Turtle Island' where we had a stop for about 40 minutes of swimming, etc. There are protected turtle nests on the island and so you cannot venture beyond the edge of the beach. The trip then continued round to the Keri Caves - an impressive set of cliffs and caves that are undoubtedly best viewed from a boat. Another brief swimming stop was included here before we returned to Limni Keri. All in all, the trip is definitely worth the 15 euros - we really enjoyed the couple of hours that we were out at sea. At the time we were there (early July), other boat trips were cheaper but didn't include everything that we'd done with the Glass Bottomed Boat. For instance, our second trip only cost 10 euros but didn't include the detour to the Keri Caves.

Went on the organised boat trip and it didn't disappoint. Saw a turtle (one of my bucket list) then went to Marathonisi Island for a 40 mins stay, swam in the sea, beautiful clear water. Love the floating shops where you can get drinks, food and ice creams.
Then went to see Keri Caves which again amazing, beautiful clear water and again fantastic swimming. Had a fantastic day.
