Want a bit of peace, quite and time out? Agulhas National Park has it all. 15 new luxury cabins, fully equipped, situated among the Fynbos dunes will get you going back repeatedly. Every cabin has sea view overlooking the typical vegetation to be found along the southern point of Africa. Expect to be visited by the Cape Spurfowl, Mongoose and... More

What a glorious place to spend a few tranquil days & nights. The National Park Family Chalet was just so comfortable, spacious & well equipped (except bring a coffee pot!). A fire place inside for cool evenings (and a bedroom heater if needed - which we didn't) and an outside braai make for such atmospheric evenings. Lulled to sleep by... More

Many people say there is nothing here except a place where you can take a picture that you were in the most Southern place of Africa. If you go to take this picture only then you will be dissapointed. But if you spend here 1-3 days and will walk along the empty clean coastline for 2-3 hours then you will... More

Very neat, well run and inexpensive accommodation. In a magnificent setting overlooking the sea, fynbos and coastal rocks, with many easy walks and a lot to see in the surrounding towns and countryside. Like the southernmost point of Africa, shipwrecks etc.

We had the most beautiful and comfortable chalet. The view was beautiful. Everything we needed and more. Well equipt. Plus a huge "rain" spider as a bonus in the shower! Loved the wooden deck. The staff at the gate was very friendly and helpful. So was the lady at the office when we arrived. One day at this beautiful place... More

Essential a biome park with small mammals and birds... not a 'game reserve'... with walks/cycling along paths and the beach ... a place to really unwind

much is written about the boardwalk to southern tip of africa and the l'Agulhas lighthouse however i will focus on the springfield saltpans. thesaltpans about 15k from struisbaai on road to elim - no longer in use they are a haven for bird watching - so as amateur birders and some avid photogrpahers we set off - only to find... We had a brilliant few nights in a cottage at the rest camp when we visited in October last year. With the camp all to ourselves we enjoyed some lovely sunsets and walks along the deserted beaches. The accommodation was excellent and we particularly loved the barbecue. Highly recommend a trip here and we just wish it was a bit... More

Just before getting into the National Park is a boardwalk that takes you to Cape Agulhas (so no entry fee needs to be paid). Car parking is done along the road. This is where the Indian Ocean & Atlantic Ocean converge...well sign-posted.
