Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Daily ticket is 500 HUF in the parking place. There are a few buffet and shops and one little playground. 10 minutes walk from the parking place up to the little mountain, there is no entrance fee. Beautiful view to the area. Recommend to visit.

Easy to find and to spot. Parking is free. Entrance is free.
But you have to climb 5-15 min depending on the fitness.
There is a souvenir machine that accept only cards at the top. And a coffee shop at the bottom. Wear comfortable shoes, be careful because the rocks are slippery.
We recommend the Castle of Csokako that is from the 13th Centaury.

Semi restored castle, sits on a hill like most. Also on the bottom a park paying tribute to Horthy Miklos, very few statues of him, people still don't understand history correctly. He saved lot of jews and he was holding on against German invasion longest he could

Fantastic hidden gem. Well maintained, great views. Kids can enjoy the nooks and crannies of this castle. Great hiking to be had around the Vértes.

Csókakő castle offers a great view, but as historic attraction it is not really worth a visit. It has been partially restored, but the work was done in a rather sloppy manner. Perhaps most unattractive is the bunch of large monitors scattered all over the place, which do no display anything but completely ruin the appearance of the place. Almost equally unauthentic and unfitting is the statue of "Szent Lawrence". At least, it was free to visit.

There is beautiful view from the walls of the partly reconstructed castle. This place became more and more popular in the last period. I visited it with my friends or family almost every year, but I can not get bored of it.
