Absolutely worth the trip! This was perhaps the most beautiful part of the island. Lovely drive to the lighthouse. Beware of the cyclists and I would imaging this place is packed during high season. Do stop at the parking area on the way back from the lighthouse and hike to the top of the hill to view the lighthouse from... More

You just have to go there on your own. The view is really breathtaking. If you are afraid of height - you can have troubles reaching this point, especially that the road is really twisted and for not experienced driver it could be really hard.

Family and I drove from Alcudia to Cape Formentor. We were captivated by the scenic view throughout the drive - passing forests, beaches, port pollencia, up/down the hills along the coast line, scenic views from the cliffs, before finally arriving at the lighthouse. The view from the lighthouse was stunning! Road condition was very good. Lots of cyclists and hikers... More

Great cycle out from Alcudia to the Cap de Formentor, brilliant road and fantastic views. Lovely coffee shop at the end of the road was a very welcoming reward

Quite a ride to the "cap" but well worth it. Nice café at the top to relax and soak in the 360 degree panoramic view repair the legs for the return journey. Wouldn't recommend by car however parking and the tight roads up to it descends into chaos - stick to two wheels.

Wrth visitng as the view is spectacular. Drive to the top is a little bit of an experience itself but if careful, no problem.

We were there during the low season and that is for sure an advantage. Cruising the road up to the Cap the Formentor is extremely nice. The view points are incredibly nice. After that we took the small road beside the parking lot and drove further up. After a short walk you reach the highest point there where a nice... More

Whilst on our summer holidays I cycled this one a couple of times, wonderful views over to Port de Pollenca and then cracking road surfaces for descents. I set off around 6am and the roads were quiet, a handful of cyclists and drivers but arriving when the sun was coming up was amazing and the bonus of being back for... More

Stunning view in the see, the mountains. Just impressive ! Apart from view, not much to do when you are there, just having a drink and watch, so don't hesitate to stop in the way in the other places where you can park and go walking... And a real nightmare to park at the cap, even in October : it... More
