Great place with a small but interesting museum about the growth of citrus growing on Chios. Great little cafe and shop with a terrace looking out over the orchard.

Kampos is a beautiful town in Chios with amazing history and this museum is a perfect experience of the life in Kampos. I live close by and always love to go there for coffee or for a walk and experience the different sweets and products they have for sale. Perfect for a coffee with a friend

A small, human-scale experience - occasionally eccentric - but rewarding for those who make the effort to find it. This is a working citrus fruit small-holding, with the original historical buildings housing a small museum about the citrus fruit industry on the island. It tells the story of how a small island developed a global outreach based on products brought... More

Citrus is really worth a visit if you want to get an insight into the history of citrus fruit cultivation on the island of Chios. Just as for everything else on Chios you need transport, I recommend car rental which was not expensive for 7 days (about 250 US dollars). Leaving Chios to the south take the road to the... More

The valley (kampos) of Chios produced some of the finest organge-mandarin-lemon fruits in the world. Citrus is the result of a great effort to preserve this history and present it to the new generations through the orchard, the museum, the cafe and sweets shop. A great place within reach of Chios town to visit and enjoy coffee and deserts.

Beyond all the others reviews when visiting don't lose the guided tour 13:00 or 20:00(verify the hours). Have someone to translate when not speaking Greek, although there are English labels.... Must see since it's a restored mansion open to the public...

The place is far from anything else and in a rich neighborhood. You walk into a garden of citrus trees. They sell many kinds of jams etc. But the desserts served at the cafe are awesome!
