We had a wonderful experience with Harriet and her beautiful horses on Hydra. We are a family of 5 with three children aged 16,14 and 11. Our ride through the town and along the coast was stunning. Harriet stopped at some key points and took photos of us all and sent them through to us after the ride so that we didn’t have to worry about trying to juggle phones/cameras on the horses. Harriet was also wonderful at making the kids feel comfortable as our children had no riding experience and were a bit nervous. Harriet was so lovely and friendly and obviously cared for her horses like family. Harriet even went out of her way to help us find last minute accommodation on the island for which we are eternally grateful after our return ferry was unexpectedly cancelled (a rare occurrence so don’t worry). We hope to return and ride with Harriet again in the future. I highly recommend Harriet’s Hydra Horses if you want the best horse riding experience on Hydra.

I phoned Harriet a week ago to see if she was still doing her outings out of the season. She told me she was actually having a few days break but would arrange for George to take us the following day. She explained that George didn't speak perfect English but was sure we would enjoy the experience as he was a lovely guy. We booked a one and a half hour trip for the four of us, at a cost of €168 in total. None of us have much experience with horses, but we had a fantastic and safe time. George is a total character who didn't stop making us laugh. I can understand why Harriet has such good ratings, with help like George and also such beautiful horses. Thank you very much, we appreciate the tour (during your break) and also the great photos from the top of the hills that George kindly took for us.

It was the most wonderful thing to do! Harriet was a fantastic and attentive guide, teaching us riding tips and making sure we were all ok. Her horses were so sweet and very chilled, they clearly adore her. The trek was very enjoyable and it was easy to handle even for novices. We were rewarded with views from the mountains were absolutely spellbinding. Highly recommended thank you Harriet X

What a wonderful experience this ride was. Beautiful scenery on a gorgeous day on a magical island. You can see Harriet really cares about her horses and riders. It was wonderful how she explained the basics to each rider and matched horses to riders perfectly. Harriet took pics and videos and uploaded them to each rider. (Such a nice touch from a business owner) Would loved to have gone on another ride if we had been there longer.

Harriet is warm and welcoming. Our experience with her was amazing and professional! Great views of the island and she loves her horses! She makes you feel like part of the Hydra family! Best part of our day trip to the island!

Harriett such a lovely young lady and well behaved horses. The ride to Kamini and back was very pretty. This was a birthday present for my husband who turned 75 on the day. He was very nervous but she made it fun and even got her husband Vasilly to meet us at the end to help him off. A good way to see the back streets and everyday life. Even when the horses stop to eat the fruit at the fruit shop on the way. Thank you Harriett
