The Jameos del Agua was the Centre of Art, Culture and Tourism to be created by César Manrique and reflects one of the cornerstones of his creative work: harmony between nature and artistic creation. The Jameos del Agua are located inside the volcanic tunnel created by the eruption of La Corona Volcano, one of the longest in the world, at 6 kilometres in length.

It paled next to the Verde caves but its worth a visit that said. Only stayed around 45 mins so the price seemed overrated. The main reason for our visit was the tiny crabs.

Cesar Manrique created this 'must see'. He created a swimming pool, dance floor, amazing auditorium, natural pool with blind (!) white mini lobsters which normally only can live at a depth of 2000 mtrs below sea level. All right at the sea in one of the numerous lava caves. Have a look at the pictures to get an impression of... More

A wonderful visit, hang back and let the tour groups pass you on their enforced shuffle through so you can take the time to really soak it in. It's a shame you can't go into the pool, never before has a pool screamed so loudly to be swam in, but I do understand why you can't. Previous reviewers have complained... More

Just came across this place but glad we went inside. Very unexpected. Good value. Wished we had time to visit all the Cesar Manrique sites.

This visit was the final part of our tour and I thought it was going to be a waste of the time. To my amazement, it was a very pleasant experience. The location is absolutely stunning, an architectural gem. After descending a spiral volcanic rock and wood staircase, we reached a cave and a natural lake of transparent waters that... More

Well worth a visit. Even better is to visit for a concert or dinner in the evening. The setting is stunning, but I can just imagine what it's like at an event in the evening.

Great place to go and visit - beautiful place and enjoyable couple of hours. There is a cave which you walk through which is really impressive and then you come out the other side to see the scenic water and there is a nice café at the top. Kids enjoyed it and worth seeing

Was a bit unsure of this place, thought it might be touristy, and was very sceptical on seeing the volume of visitors when we arrived. However, coach parties leave quickly and it was surprisingly tranquil. Three bars for a decent coffee in scenic surroundings, the lake with crabs is lovely and the pool is stunning. It was the highlight tourist... More

You really get the 'wow' factor when you enter this fabulous site and you see the cave and the 'crab' pool (the only Albino Blind Crabs). This whole site is a real work of art that was designed and created by Cesar Manrique (Lanzarote Artist) and it is beautiful. However; the information areas and interactive buttons etc; did not all... More

I went there with a friend, and we loved it. Fantastic place to go for a wander, have some food, coffee...really lovely. The cave with the lake type of thing was fantastic, and the 'pool' outside also. We wished we were allowed to swim there!!!!
