Not for the faint hearted, that's for sure. Descent takes c.20 mins (2,347-1,500m drop), be prepared for plenty of tumbles (helmets are a must) and a sore bum afterwards. But SO, SO much fun!!! Hire sledges from Monnet Sports in the centre of the village....More

This is a really wonderful thing to do if you like walking for 90 minutes in ski boots dragging a toboggan as a half-day activity. On about three twinkling-of-an-eye moments during our run - three tiny glimmers of light in the almost overwhelming darkness -...More

This is an activity for all the family though not necessarily suitable for children under the age of 8. It is high intensity though a thrill seekers paradise. Well worth a go if you have done enough skiing!

Truly terrible experience with dreadful sledges (the wooden ones are better but still not great). The run is very bumpy and pitted, lots of pushing then lots of uncontrollable speed. Dont do it!!!!

My teens absolutely love the luge run in La Tzoumaz. Plenty of spills and thrills and provides hours of chat afterwards.

Wrap up warm as plenty of snow in your face and down your trousers! Best thing you can do in the 4 valleys though!!

10 km of sledge run, hilarious by day or by night, in a snowstorm or glorious sunshine. Excellent full moon DJ/party nights with a guided slide home near midnight. Annual race with different categories and great prizes. Rent one of a variety of top-quality sledges...More
