Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the last of the lower lakes that we visited before crossing Kozjak and continuing our journey to the upper lakes. I liked the picturesque way that this one had a number of small waterfalls around and feeding it. Every lake in the park is wonderful, though, so try to see them all!

I visited on a trekking program of the Croatia tour. Lake Milanovac is the lower part of Lake Kozhak, the largest lake in the Plitwitze group. Located 524 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in the Lower Lakes. Looking at the surface of the emerasto green lake on the right hand side, we follow a wooden path, which becomes Milanovac Falls, 10 meters high, where the waters of Lake Kozhak flow down, creating a streak of white flow to the surface.

One of four lakes in the Lower Lakes section of the park, this one's as pretty as the rest, just a lot smaller than neighboring Gavanovac. Still worth seeing, and kind of a must see (as in, you would have to close your eyes to miss it) if you're walking the boardwalks in the whole Lower Lakes section.

Milanovac is the highest and first lake in the lower lakes. I heartily recommend wearing comfortable shoes and exploring the entire park. It is the combination of all the waterfalls and lakes that make the park spectacular.

Milanovac is the highest of the Lower Lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park. The lake has a great color and numerous waterfalls.
