Boasting more than six kilometres of golden sand, stretching from Vilamoura in the west to Olhos do Agua in the east, Praia da Falesia is home to one of the longest beaches in Portugal. Standing on the cliff in Albufeira you get a feel of the dramatic vista.

We have booked b&b in Algarve gardens. When we arrived we were pleased that the bungalow had lots of space, but very basic deco reminding me of post communist holiday flats with very basic design. When we wanted to cook a basic meal and use a kettle the electricity stopped working as the fuse box dates probably 1970s After a... More

Walking the seashore from Villamoura back to Balalia was sheer heaven. Although you have to time this walk with the tide it's well worth the effort . The cliffs are spectacular with some amazing wooden stairways to the top of the cliffs . Pebbles ,sea shells ,soft sand and a beautiful bar at the end makes for a wonder day... More

Beautiful beach that goes for miles. Take a walk along the beach to villamoura and enjoy a drink by the marina.

West of Albufeira only Falesia Beach is without concrete blocks. Here you find a marvelous reef panorama for hiking, swimming, biking, windsurfing, boating.Recommended Alfamar Beach & Sport Resort direct at the steep slope coast.

Falesia beach is one of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches. It keeps its natural touch, with sparkling clear warm water, and a beatiful view of the coast all along the whole beach. The beach has enough lifeguards to make us feel safe enough to take our kids, and now and then we can see and hear the icecream and cream... More

Quiet, majestic Falesia Beach, easily accessible from the hotel Porto Bay Falesia in Olhos de Agua, in the Algarve. Walk down steps to the beach..amazing with red sandstone cliffs, south facing beaches..soft reddish beige sand..a wonderful place to walk; you can walk in this wild and wonderful place as far as you like, but if you head to the left,...
