Great little train trip for a very reasonable price, close up look at the intensive cropping on the terraced land and, of course, the Cabo Giaro. The train folk also have a cafe with lovely terrace for coffee, tea and most excitingly for me, gluten...More

This is a really enjoyable trip on the little train up to Cabo Girao. You have about 20 minutes at Cabo Girao which is plenty of time there but it is the journey that is such fun. Love it!

The green train takes you up to Cabo Giraz to see the glass platform in the cliff . Driven by Sofia who was friendly and full of local knowledge . A must use on a visit to Madeira although you can travel by bus .

Very fairly priced way to get up to Cabo Girao for the view and photo ops. Good fun and good commentary by the driver. You won't be disappointed.

We just missed the train - and finished up walking back to camara de lobos - a VERY long maze-like walk as there are no buses. Take it from me, its great value compared to walking!

Terrific views. The commentary was interesting and light-hearted with a would-be comedian for a driver! Great fun. The viewpoint glass walk was vertigo-inducing but well worth the visit. Do turn up early as the seats fill up.

Well worth the 7.50 euro per person. Fantastic views on way up and down. Noisy people on the ride so didn't hear much of the commentary. Only 10 mins at the top but that's plenty to see brilliant view from the glass bottom platform and...More

For €7.50 each its well worth the money. It takes you up the hill to the top where the glass bottom platform. Great views over looking the island from various points. The train driver smiles the whole journey and was a really nice chap. We...More

None of the cruise ships trips stop at the view point, so you would have to book on to a red bus tour, that stops at Camera de Lobos, then Tate the train up to the view point , allowing yourself plenty of time to walk... More
