    Ruins with good views
Before visiting better check opening hours - 8.30 till 15.30. Entrance 3 euro. Outside can be be seen for free. Ruins mostly with nice views. We parked close by, there wasn't any dedicated parking lot.

If only the walls could talk!
Visited Molivos Castle with family during our recent stay in Lesvos. We walked up the castle which was an experience itself. We sat in the cafe to recover and cool down before we spent time walking around the castle. There are some excellent views across the open land and across to Molivos harbour. When looking around places like this I often wonder what stories the place would be able to tell. The walk down was much easier!

Beautiful views & way to visit Molyvos walking down
Admission is only €3, and you can enjoy the exterior for free. The castle features captivating ruins complemented by picturesque vistas, making it a worthwhile visit. You'll find several intriguing photo opportunities as well. Be sure to check the opening hours; typically, it's open from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, closed on Tuesdays. Moreover, the castle offers stunning views from both inside and outside. A top tip is to take the tourist train to reach the castle and then enjoy a leisurely walk downhill to Molyvos, which is more convenient than the uphill journey, given Molyvos's hilly terrain.

    Views are nice enough...
Worth a visit for the views but otherwise there's not a lot here to see. It's realistically priced at 3 Euros. There's a small restaurant below the castle by the car park, from the windy road up here. You can get up/down on foot too, through some lovely little streets, down to the waterfront.

Well worth the walk up the narrow cobbled streets and steps as the views from the castle over the town and surrounding areas are brilliant. Can be very hot if walking up July but the views are worth it.

Very good castle, it has a great view. I was walking outside, but enough for me, because it's too hot. It could be better if they put some secure when you're walking side is can be dangerous

Nice cultural object in this town. It’s just a ruin, impressive but not with a museum or exposed objects. Just a few information boards.

To walk around and the view over Molyvos and the sea is great
