We caught the little electric train from Petra up to the castle, I should imagine it's a bit of hike up there especially in the hotter months. Fascinating place with a lot of history from its many occupations and the associated architecture and some stunning...More

You can either take the local bus up if you have mobility issues or small children, but the nicest way is to walk up the hill through the picturesque, winding streets of Molyvos. Once at the top, it's a euro or two each to go...More

You have a very nice view from there. But you have access till 15.00 so you cannot enjoy the superb sunset from there. It’s more interesting during summer when some festivals happen

Rising above the most beautiful village of the island, the castle takes you to another dimension. It makes you travel through time and history while you stand in front of a breathtaking view. A must see when in Lesvos.

Nice castle, well preserved. We liked the walk, the view and the overall experience, Only 2 euros to enter the castle, well worth it, but I wish they had done more to tell the story. Guided tour? Competitions? Souvenirs for sale inside? Festivals? Maybe they...More
