Went on this trip in September after reading all the great TripAdvisor reviews. It was a great afternoon of ight-seeing, drinking complimentary wine, free raisins (sooo yummy!) and waving at the people along the way. It's not just for kids (young or old ones!) I am returning this year and have the afternoon trip and the evening Greek Night planned... More

This was our third time on this trip and it still represents excellent value for money. It is lovely to see the countryside and there always seems to be something new in the museum. The free wine is a bonus but the food at the Taverna is well worth the money charged. The olive oil available to purchase is the best I have... Decided to give this a try and wasnt disappointed. Driven thru the streets getting pulled by a train lol. Into the next village and on to the local museum. Fascinating, then on to the taverna. FREE WINE... yes free 1/4l each.

Have just been on this 'excursion'. It was brilliant! Spiros has got to be the best businessman on the island. I have never had such an eccentric trip! The museum is a barn full of rusty machinery and stuff from junk shops but the food is fab and wine is great ☺. And who knows maybe the spiritual healing waters... More

Great road train ride into the hills to see a museum, church and taverna with some interesting facts along the way. It was lovely and cool in the midday sun and all the locals stop and wave! Children enjoyed it too. Thanks To Jayne for all the information.

Very good and a fun way to travel up to the museum and taverna. Brenda was very knowledgeable and would answer any questions you would ask. It was a nice alternative way to spend the morning and good for adults and children to learn a little of the history of zante. Definitely recommend this trip !

Wasn't that keen to go on the train but so glad I did. We had to book for the following day as it was full. Brenda is at jammin from about 10am in the morning. It was a relaxing, scenic trip to a very interesting museum and Brenda was extremely knowledgeable. The church was beautiful with the smelly, healing water... More
