Nice library in the heart of village Milies. A lot of really old books in a beautiful tall building. The woman in the reception was really polite and helpful, in order to show us around. A point of interest, you should visit if you are near Milies or Afissos.

Spent a morning exploring Milies and the library was high on our list and it did not disappoint. It is still a true library with a very good selection in fact 1,000's of old books saved from destruction from the Germans in WW11. We spent over an hour in here and if our time hadn't been limited I'm sure we'd have been in longer, incredible book collection for such a small village. A must see on a visit to Milies.…

The library is one of the most striking examples of the heydays of Milies and of Pilion. Even with the limited collection of the original library (lost in WW2) it proves that science and culture were an integral part of the Pilion community. A must see.

Many thanks to Dimitrios for a wonderful English tour. The original books in the collection are amazing and the history of the library is very interesting. Not to be missed if in Milies.

An unassuming historical gem in a beautiful mountain village. Over 3000 books rescued from the local school during the Second World War, and a very friendly attendant talked us through the significance of the various objects on display. A short visit, but interesting.
