This church gives me the creep. It is small but very warm and cozy. I even cried upon entering the place for I feel very close to God that moment. The surrounding countryside is very peaceful and instagram worthy - making this one of the...More

I was somewhat disappointed that we visited during the time of its renovation. I cannot really blame them as the last strong typhoon (Ferdie aka Meranti) passing through the area really did a number not on just this church but also for other spots on...More

The church is usually included as one of the stop-overs in the Basco tour package, it is currently being repaired, after being damaged by a typhoon in 2016. Fortunately the church frontage is relatively intact and will still make for good photos.

It is the first stop of our North Batan Tour. The church is erected in an overlooking hill with Mt Iraya visible at the back. It is more of a chapel than a church if we take into consideration its size. Its walls are made...More

This is a small church with an Ivatan concept. Guides and locals like to bring visitors here because of this church stood many typhoons. From what we were told the last time a typhoon hit Batanes it took away with it the roof of this...More
