Located right in the heart of Basco, Batanes. The cathedral serves the catholic community here. The church is said to be built in 1812 and is one of the first limestone buildings to be constructed.

This cathedral is located right opposite the port and the honesty coffee shop and its a must see-it is so so beautiful and still retains its original architecture and design style.

This old church has a wonderful charm that Batanes has to offer, the courtyard has a replica version of the surrounding structures, so it would be nice to have photos taken there also.

For a relaxed day tour, this is one of the historical landmarks that must not be missed while traveling to Basco, Batanes. Its simple design adds to the calmness of the place, with its lovely garden surrounded by Arius trees.
