Has to be one of the best settings in the world for a Vineyard. Views amazing. Interesting that the vines grew in nestlike shapes on the ground to avoid the strong winds in Santorini. Delicious local delicacies accompanied the wine tasting. Cheese, cherry tomatoes, etc....More

I have been visiting this winery for years now with the small groups that I bring May & Sept to Greece. Boutari, Megalohori, enchants, informs and inspires every time. They are informative, productive and, of course, delicious! More wines, more vineyards--the pioneers of modern wine...More

This place was amazing, in general, because of their great wine and VERY informative personel. We went through the 9 wine tour, with a young english guy, with so much knowledge about the wine and its origin in details like no other place. The many...More

Lovely winery with a large selection of local wines at great prices. It was hard to just choose two bottles to buy! The guide was a young Greek man who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. Wine tasting costs only a few Euros...More

The wines at Boutari and on the island of Santorini in general taste very different than what I am used to, they grow differently they behave differently and because of quite obviously numerous factors they are entirely their own. We had a nice tasting, were...More

Had researched the website but when we got there were told it was shut for a private function . It would be helpful to future visitors if this was included on their website

Hi! I'm traveling to Greece for my honeymoon in July and would love to visit the Boutari Winery, I'm wondering if anyone purchased there tickets ahead of time or got them once they were in Santorini? Thanks so much! Jessie

I reserved mine ahead of time and that was in October, I would definitely get them ahead for July as it will be the busy time of the year.

My friends and I (7 total) will be there December 3-7, 2015. Are you open for tours/tastings?

From what I understand much of the island shuts down during the winter. Boutari's Santorini operation is a is a fairly large operation but I would contact the winery directly.
