Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This time, we went to Iztuzu beach, which we went to without any problems when we came to Dalyan before, with the navigation turned on, and for exactly 2 hours, the deserted road took us to a cliff and a broken mountain, taking us to a completely wrong location.
Even if you are going to open navigation, do not forget to ask someone who knows the way.
The beach was wavy the day we went. Frankly, we did not enjoy it very much. We stopped for about 2 hours and got out.
There is a business on the beach, prayers, foot washing places etc. It was overcrowded and we had to leave before it was cleaned because they were waiting for us.

Renowned as one of the world's best beaches. Clean, well managed. Facilities superb. Good cafe with very reasonable priced food and drink. Sandy beach and shallow clear sea particularly safe for all to swim in. Lifeguard present.

If like me you have visited Istuzu beach many times and looked up at "Radar mountain" and thought 'I bet the view from up there must be amazing', well they are! On my latest visit I thought right I am going to go up that mountain and check out the views of the beach, river and Dalyan! I hired a quad bike and turning left off the beach road, sign posted to the Sunset Special House Restaurant followed the road up and up turning right at a turning with no sign post. I found the viewing point! Wow what a view, you can see the whole beach, all of the river going back to Dalyan, it is truely breathtaking, worth all of the organising, take a decent camera and you will capture some great shots. WoW.

Go to the beach on the council boat, 10lire one way. It's the most beautiful journey through the delta and past the rock tombs. This end of the beach tends to get very busy in the afternoon with day trippers. We then walk to the other end of the beach..about 80/90 minutes collecting any rubbish on the way. At the other end it's a bit quieter but there is a cafe/bar and toilets. We then get the dolmus back [5lire] that goes up the mountain and along a very scenic route back into Dalyan.

We did use the public boat to get to the beach, having hired a private boat for the day on two occassions and visiting the very eastern end when we had a quad bike for the day on another occassion.

The beach is relatively quiet, plenty of sun loungers near the bars at either end, but if you fancy a walk to the middle of the beach you will be pretty much on your own.

The Turtle Sanctuary and Katain June's museum at the far eastern end of the beach are worth a trip all on their own, but you need to get to them via the road if you don't fancy quite a long walk along the beach from where the public transport takes you.

There is certainly no need to go to the beach if you are visiting Dalyan, but it is worth a visit even if you aren't a sun seaker.

Superb Beach, worth going to for the trip alone, whether it's by public boat or bus. Good facilities for changing, clean toilets. There's several cafes which serve drinks and snacks at reasonable prices.

What a wonderful treat a visit to this beach was! The views from the beach are incredible. The sand trees and natural beauty are plentiful.
We checked out the turtle reservation centre while we are the beach and this was very heartwarming. The staff and cause are doing an amazing job protecting the sea turtles and educating people on how to better protect them and well as caring did those injured and in need of recuperation.
We had lunch while at the beach and this was delightful. The view from the little cafe looking out to the sea and mountains is truly stunning. The food is very reasonably priced and great quality. Parking costs 500 TL for all day. This beach is defo worth a visit.
