i have been here several times over the summer. The sea weed grows like mad. then the council has removed the sea weed the palce is fantastic. when the seaweed is all on the sand and slip ways is it not so good

nice and quiet, lovely place to bring the children. Lovely area to explore beach, shops, cafes etc. ideal for everyone.

A nice beach, an old fashioned seaside resort. We went here after visiting quex park and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the beach was.

Lovely spot with facilities for us and our dog. The beach is nice and sandy. A lovely quite spot. Lots of smelly sea weed on the beach but you get used to it!!

lots of free parking but there is a car park if the road full. beach is of sand/stone and when we went only visable for the morning as tide comes in .A small ice cream stand and a place for lunch not cheap but great...More

What a gem we found. Outside dining with fantastic views over the sea. Staff and food excellent! Another bonus was that we could take our dog with us in the outdoor section making the day even better

yes like above not on the main beach but where the pub come restaurant is ,is a loverly stretch of green with benches along the way if you get tired out that is very popular with dog walkers have done this myself very nice... More

I have a little dog and she loves swimming in the sea, but at most nice sandy beaches dogs are not allowed until the end of September, can you tell me if this is the same at birchington

Hi I am afraid that dogs are not permitted on the beach until the end of September.
