Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A little rain ☔️ and it was the opportunity to visit this museum very close to the site of the virgin island. Certainly you can sometimes feel helpless in front of the scientific language displayed but also small in the time scale in front of these geological stories but it is worth it. Beautiful stones and minerals cleverly highlighted , surprising interactivity , beautiful photos of the area, stories in captivating videos and at the exit you no longer look at the cliffs and rocks you discover on foot! A beautiful geology lesson for young and old

I have to admit that as a former geography student I have never lost my love of rocks and landscape features and had I still been teaching I would have arranged a visit there and then.
Clearly this venue is still a work in progress, with design work going on in the garden area out the back and its very low key ambience. But once I was inside (thanks for the English translation on reception) I had a fab time wandering around on my own while my husband sat outside reading his book - rocks not being his thing - and became engrossed with the exhibition. I had the entire fluorescent rock experience all to myself which was exciting and mildly creepy at the same time.
The best bit was actually being able to touch the rocks which is so rare and refreshing.

Stumbled upon this fascinating museum whilst on holiday in the area with friends. A must see and very cheaply priced. Also a wonderful exhibition on sliced rock pictures by Raphael Salzedo. And a really cool sand play area for adults!

It has been 21 years since we visited Crozon. When we first visited the fledgling museum it piqued our interest then. Now the display is stunning: the highlight being the rocks fluorescing under UV light. Crystals and minerals have a beauty of their own, a casual mixture of randomness and order, curves and edges, matt and scintillance, drab and bright colour. In a large room you can inspect samples in normal artificial daylight for five minutes the under ultraviolet when they are transformed in an almost magical way. Well worth the trek out to the wild Cap de la Chevre!

This is a beautifully organized little museum which presents tons of interesting information about the geology of the region in an attractive way. The highlight which definitely makes it worth the trip is the room of minerals who become fluorescent under ultra-violet lights. It cycles off between the blue light and regular lights. The fluorescent rocks are arranged in such a way to make this experience truly mesmerizing.

Well worked out and educational.
Too bad people don't pay attention to foreign tourists.
You have to master the French language.
