One of the oldest temples in srilanka running back to valagamba age. Still it has the ancient taste and is in a very calm hill. Most times the temple is almost quiet. The carvings and traditionals paintings can be obsereved.

This is an ancient temple located few miles away from the Peradeniya town. Non touristic location but if you have enough time to spend in kandy this is an ideal place to visit.
