So beautiful, it really needs to be seen in real life. It is a shame that people have littered around the lake and in the surrounding area.

One could think you were gazing at Broome waters by the colour, absolute turquoise. From the tin residue I believe. Definitely worth a look.

This is a truly magical wonder of nature. The photos don't show how amazingly light blue this little gem is. Definitely worth visit. The drive there is also very lovely with pretty little towns and amazing views. Needs tone promoted by tourism Tasmania more! Grew...More

Words can't even describe how beautiful this little lake is! Even more beautiful in person then any picture I've seen. The lake is the most magnificent blue! Hard to believe such a beautiful place is hidden in our little state.

Amazing aqua blue waters! Great place for a stopover for lunch, wouldn't go out of my way to come here as there isn't much else to do as swimming is not recommended - though I did see some local teens swimming. I stopped here when...More

There is limited access to this lake. Being a quarry it has steep sides and you are limited to taking pictures from up on the cliff edge. Worth a look but not a place I would visit unless driving past that way. The view itself...More

From the lack of people there when we visited on a long weekend and lack of reviews here it seems this place isn't very well known, so get there before everyone find outs about it! You cannot swim in this lake due to the chemicals...More

It's sealed, it's only the car park that's gravel.
